“Tagore School of Rural Development & Agriculture Management” (TSRDAM) has started since July, 2010 at Kalyani to produce human resources meaningfully in diverse disciplines of Agriculture. Tagore School of Rural Development & Agriculture Management (TSRDAM) is a new born Institute under “Tagore Education & Rural Development Trust”. This is the first private Diploma Agriculture Institute in West Bengal situated at Kalyani, the dream town of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, (First Honourable Chief Minister of West Bengal). The college has blossomed into a centre of excellence and provides a very conductive environment for the learning – teaching process. It provides all the facilities for learning to enable the students to acquire knowledge, skill and ability to face the emerging trends in agricultural sector.

TSRDAM is arranging minimum period of 4 to 6 weeks Industrial Training for the students with the Industries dealing with seeds & planting materials, fertilizers, bio-fertilizers, weedicides, plant protection chemicals, financing, etc as a result this Institution has developed close linkages with those industries where the students are expected to be employed after successful completion of their courses.
TSRDAM attaches most importance to job placement after a student have successfully completed their course. Every possible effort is made by the Institute’s “PLACEMENT CELL” to identify suitable opportunities through its contact in the industries. Our students are adequately trained in their respective fields including Financing, Accounting, Marketing and Business management. Considering the present thrust on Agriculture, the services of the trained Technical Personnel so produced from this Institute are being extensively utilised for any sort of developmental works suited to their skills relating to any organisation. We are pleased to inform that some reputed National & Multinational Companies like Krishi Rasayan, Indus Seed Company, United Phosphorus Ltd., Advance Pesticides, Bayer Crop Science, Indofil, Nabkishan Bio-tech (Hyd-based), Biostadt, Pan Seed Pvt. Ltd., Indogulf Fertilizer, CNG Agro Chem. Pvt. Ltd., Dupont, Dhanuka, Corromondal, Crystal Crop Pvt. Ltd., JU Pesticides, Adama, Dow, MAPLE Agri Tech., HDFC Life, and other Financial Institution etc have come forward and nicely responded to become our placement/ Job partners, where our first, second and third batch students have been placed through In-Campus interview. Their services are being utilised as Field Assistant or Field Level Supervisors. We are confident that our students are 100% capable of working in grass root level in all spheres.
Students after availing the Diploma Degree from this Institute are eligible to have the facilities to get the 2 months residential Training programme on ‘Agriclinic & Agribusiness Centre’ organised by Manage, Hyderabad. Incidentally, it may please be mentioned that the first such batch of 29 candidates exclusively from our Institute just completed the course conducted by Netaji Subhas Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Kalyani.
